Getting started

How do I get started?

Book a consultation online. You will pick a time, then meet with your provider by video to talk through your goals and history. From there, your provider orders labs if they are needed and builds a plan with you.

Who is Peak Performance Health for?

Adults 18 and older who live in Florida, or are located in Florida at the time of their visits, and who want root-cause care for hormones, weight, energy, performance or joint pain.

Who will I be seeing?

Your care is provided by Aaron Fralicker, APRN, a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 14 years of experience in pain management, hormone therapy, medical weight loss and regenerative joint injections.

What information do you ask for when I book?

Only your name, email and phone number. We talk about your health privately during your consultation, not in the booking form.

Telehealth and where we serve

Where do you offer care?

Online visits are available to adults anywhere in Florida and North Carolina. In-person procedures, such as joint injections, take place in Central Florida.

How do video visits work?

You join a secure video visit from your phone, tablet or computer. You will need a private space and a stable internet connection.

Can I be seen if I live outside Florida?

At this time we can only provide care to patients who are located in Florida during their visits.

What if I have an urgent problem?

Telehealth is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

Labs

Why do I need labs?

Labs help your provider understand what is actually going on, rather than guessing from symptoms alone. They also help monitor your safety once you start a treatment.

How do I get my labs done?

After your consultation, your provider orders the labs that make sense for you, and our team explains where and how to complete them. Some tests, like the DUTCH hormone test, are done at home.

What is DUTCH testing?

DUTCH is a comprehensive, at-home dried urine hormone test. It looks at sex hormones, how your body breaks them down, and your daily cortisol pattern, which can give a fuller picture than a single blood draw.

Are labs included in the price?

Lab costs vary depending on what your provider orders. Your provider will review all costs with you before you start.

Pricing and billing

Is there a contract?

No. There are no contracts and you can cancel anytime. You can save 10% when you prepay 3 months.

What does the $149 assessment include?

A video consultation, a lab order and a results review. The $149 is credited to your first month if you continue with a plan.

Are medications included?

Medication, lab and pharmacy costs vary by protocol. Your provider will review all costs with you before you start.

Weight loss program

How does the medical weight loss program work?

It starts with a consultation and labs. Your provider builds a personalized plan, which may include nutrition and lifestyle guidance and GLP-1 therapy when clinically appropriate, followed by monthly check-ins to adjust your plan.

Do you use compounded medications?

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Your provider will discuss all options, including FDA-approved medications, and their risks with you.

What are the side effects of GLP-1 therapy?

The most common side effects are digestive, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation. Less common but serious risks can include pancreatitis and gallbladder problems. GLP-1 therapy is not right for everyone, including people with certain personal or family medical histories. Your provider will review your history and the risks with you before you start.

How much weight will I lose?

Results vary from person to person, and we do not promise specific results or timelines. Your provider will set realistic goals with you and track your progress at every check-in.

Why do you focus on protecting muscle?

Losing weight can also mean losing muscle, which matters for strength and metabolism. After month 3, your provider may discuss hormone and muscle support to help you protect your results.

Hormone therapy

What is BHRT?

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) uses hormones that are chemically similar to the ones your body makes. Your provider decides whether it is appropriate after reviewing your symptoms, history and labs.

Can you help with perimenopause and menopause?

Yes. Your provider can evaluate symptoms like hot flashes, poor sleep, mood changes and weight changes and talk through options, including hormone therapy when appropriate.

How do I know if I have low testosterone?

Symptoms such as low energy, low libido, poor recovery or brain fog can have many causes. Labs are needed to know. Your provider reviews your results with you before recommending anything.

What are the risks of hormone therapy?

Hormone therapy can cause side effects and is not right for everyone. Depending on the therapy, risks can include acne, fluid retention, breast tenderness, mood changes, higher red blood cell counts and, for men on testosterone, reduced fertility. Some therapies carry a risk of blood clots. Your provider reviews your history, explains the risks and monitors you with follow-up labs.

Do you offer sexual wellness and hair loss treatment?

Yes, as add-ons when appropriate. These medications can have side effects, such as headache or flushing for some sexual wellness medications, and they can interact with other medications. Your provider reviews your medications and history first.

Joint injections

Where are joint injections done?

Joint injections are done in person in Central Florida.

Which joints do you treat?

Commonly knees, shoulders and hips, along with other joints. Your provider will evaluate whether an injection is a good option for you.

What should I expect at the visit?

Your provider reviews your history and examines the joint, explains the options, and answers your questions before any procedure.

What are the risks of joint injections?

Like any injection, risks can include temporary pain, swelling or bruising at the injection site and, rarely, infection. Results vary. Your provider will review the risks and aftercare with you.

Not sure where to start? Take the 60-second assessment.
